The Tribunal Consperiacy?

All through the game I've heard that Vivic is so great and wonderful and selfless and kind. But then one day I'm looking around in the Hall of Justice Secret Library, which I would assume is meant to contain books and stuff the Temple wants to keep out of the public's hands, like the Vampire papers Skink wanted. Anyway, around near the back on a shelf I find this peice of paper that has Nerevar's history on it. It talks about how Nerevar and the Dwarf King were friends during the time of the Chimer and how that Dwarf scientist was using the Heart of Loken behind his back and how a war started and crap. It also told how Dagoth Ur was the only general who was acutally loyal to Nerevar and how the other two(Vivic and Sotha Sil) and Nerevar's queen Almelexia(sp?) murdered Nerevar and beat the crap out of Dagoth Ur so bad he had to retreat under Red Mountain. And then they used the Heart of Loken to become living gods and founded the Temple to get people to worship them.
Then I found a paper laying on the desk near the front of the library which was a transcript of a conversation Vivic had with a dissadent priest. Basically it seemed like a covered up version of the first paper I was taking about. Vivic seemed to be warping the facts. Or was he?
So which is true? Are Vivic and the other Tribunal god's saints or evil bastards who killed Nerevar?

Here's another thing: how come the Hoylaman monastery is always closed until 6am-6pm and vice versa. The Cavern of Incarnate also opens between those times.

By the way..yes Vivec was a honorable guy, but only for the dumners. If you do some temple quests and make the pilgrimage to the 7 shrines you will learn alot about Vivecs deeds.

I prefer to think that the Tribunal is overall honorable.
SPOILER ABOUT TRIBUNAL!!!!!
True, Almalexia does go mad, but she was desperate to regain her former power.
And Sotha Sil... I dunno.

In reply to obsidians post:
Sotha Sil was "the" wizard of Vvardenfell. Vivec and Nerevar learned from him and he used to be the mightiest wizard ever known.

I've made my own conclusion that the Daedra that roam Vvardenfell have been cast out of Oblivion for whatever reason, probably for going against their respective gods' wishes or to protect the Daedric sites. Either way I'm sure that Oblivion is a much less savage place than is portrayed since there does seem to be a hierarchy and it has borders.
Also the fact that the Tribunal draws its powers from a tangible source rather than the Daedric Gods who are imbued with theirs suggests their ultimate superiority over the Tribunal.
You see, this is what happens when mortals mess with powers they shouldn't be messing with, you just get a huge mess.
