If you're not a very active member of the TESSource community you might not have noticed that Gaming Source, TESSource's father, has reached the big 250,000 members mark. The last milestone of 100,000 members was reached on the 30th of March 2006 and took over 3 years to achieve. If you do the math you'll notice this latest milestone, an additional 150,000 members on top of the original milestone has only taken 7 months! What a brilliant testament to the great modding community this series of games possesses.

Whether you're a big fan of Oblivion or feel let down there's no denying the popularity of the game and the immense support provided by the community (over 4,000 Oblivion mods uploaded since March 22nd!). In a year which really hasn't seen a wealth of good games Oblivion shines through as a real beacon of light.

How many of the members are active on GamingSource, and how many are only registered so they can use TESSource?

Abramul has a point. How many of these members actually contribute to the community. Or even still use their accounts. There must be a hell of a lot of people who signed up just to download one mod, or who just dont post anymore.

Maybe you should create a list of active members- members who have at least visited the forum in the past month, and deduce figures from that.

250000 is quite a milestone nevertheless. Congrats

I would estimate about half. I dont have any facts to prove it or whatsoever, but for some reason im pretty sure only half of those people are accually active.

Still, 250000 is alot of usernames, and even if half just joined in order to download mods, it still proves your community point.

250000. Congratulations!

Graphs would be nice. One line with active users, one with 0 posts (those who only download) and one who only made a few posts?
