This was created because the previous age poll is 3 years old, therefore much of the data is out of date. With a variable as dynamic as age, a new poll is needed every year, especially given that you can only vote once.

10 choices isn't really enough. As you can see, I adjusted the margins to better refine previous results. In the last vote the majority of voters were between 10-18, so I divided that age group.

I have nothing against more mature people, but only a very small portion of forum goers are over 30. Given the limited number of choices, discrimination in more popular categories takes priority.

I am 18 and a half

So basically I will get to vote again when I'm forty. And you'll be 26 an a half then. Man I'm not sure I'll be able to see the screen by then.

I guess that makes me a "very small portion." Or a mere nibble of that portion. Kinda disappointing, really. *hrumphcoughthirtycoughtwohrumph*

Due to the ranges chosen, this poll will have an apparent bias towards the older ages. More specifically, since the higher age-groups are broader than the lower ones, they will, at first glance, appear to be larger relative to the low groups than they should be.

Okay, so maybe a teensy bit biased. :P But the other thread was getting too old (thread ageism! Burn him!). Ahem.

Pinning this.

Oh, 18 and a half (ish) here.

Where is the over 1000 category? How can we wizards be fairly represented if you stop at 61 plus?
