I know the site's not quite finished yet, but it almost is, so I thought I'd post some news!

It looks like Maxis, after not only designing the creatures in VG Cat's Spore comic, have actually sent him his own models of them from their 3D printer. This gives a really good idea of the sort of quality we're talking about here. It makes me wonder how much of a fee they'll be asking for when it comes to the actual game feature!

Thanks to Povuholo and Peregrine for pointing out that the post links were broken - seems it's a bug with the CMS, as the links appeared on the site just fine. ^^; I've replaced the URLs now.
