Why doesn't Tesame Rename All not work?

Hello,

I am a mod designer and recently loaded a copy of TESAME. The "Rename all" button does not "rename anything" when I use it. Is this a bad copy of TESAME? Or should I just cut-and-slash all GMSTs regardless of trying to cure the Mod from its corruption?
