The Strike System The forum discplinary system

We follow a simple "three strikes and you're out mentality" where members breaking the forum rules repeatedly are given strikes. On being issued their third strikes troublesome members are banned from these forums permanently. A ban encompasses all Nexus sites.
Strikes are issued by myself and members of the moderating team. Strikes are issued for repeatedly breaking the Forum Terms of Service or the Posting Don'ts as suggested by Switch, one of our forum moderators.
For a first strike offense members will normally be warned of an impending strike by a moderator and told to stop the wrong act they are performing. Based on the response of the member to this warning and whether they cease the wrong act they are performing a strike may or may not be issued.
A second strike will normally come without warning since the member should be well aware of the forum rules and posting etiquette on these forums by this time and should know better.
In severe situations (such as attacking a forum moderator) more than one strike might be issued.
Strikes are rarely issued but all posting members should be aware of the forum rules and posting etiquette when it comes to things like what is considered spamming, malicious, thread necromancy or undesirable. Please note that we might interpret spamming, necromancy or insulting posts differently to you, and that we go by OUR interpretations, not yours.
Members have a chance to redeem themselves and remove strikes from their name by acting well within the community and not giving the moderators any hassle.
As a general rule of thumb please remember that the moderators are the police of these forums and you should act as though you were dealing with the police when approached by them on your actions. Moderators are not here to make your posting life a misery, instead they're here to keep the peace and make these forums an enjoyable experience for all. They are the most trusted members of these forums and should be treated as such. With this in mind if people are unduely rude, disrespectful or insulting to moderators of these forums they could be issued 1, 2 or even an instant 3 strikes (and a ban) for their actions. Having said that the moderators are still members of this community and you can treat them as equals in anything except discinplinary procedures (so you need not "suck up" or side with them simply because they are moderators!).
Thank you for reading this and understanding how these forums operate.

I have been a member of this site since April 27th 2005 and I still as of this message cannnot create a topic.
Keeps saying I don't have permission....WHY?
Are you kidding me.............How the hell can I not have permission to create a topic after almost 4 years?
So lets go over the rules here:
1) You give people the option to create an account in which you prevent them from using it completely. Then you post up how people will get strikes if they are not respectful and or rude!
All I can say is wow
You purposely set out to piss people off, then tell them to be polite and not be rude even though your being rude to them by prventing them from using thier account you so convienently allowed them to make and not be able to use.
This whole situation is exactly the same as suspending or banning someone and then sending the reasons they were suspended or banned to the account that got suspended or banned, then saying we sent you the reasons and using that as justification to say we told you why.
Which is idiotic considering the fact that the account has been suspended and or banned so you can't get into the account to read the reason(S) even if you wanted to.
So the person has no idea why, then creates another account to ask why and then you ban that one saying it's ban dodging.
What you said above is the exact same thing as what I have written here.
It's pointless, idiotic, stupid, and completely unfair.
What would happen if when you bought a vehicle you were told you can't drive it when you want? Or bought a house and then told you can't live in until the bank says you can and if you ask it's going to add 6 months of not being able to live there.
My whole point is that If you allow someone to create an account, then allow them to use it.

To test this out to see if you truly have problems with your account, click this link. Then click "New Topic" on the top-right corner and see if you can create a "hello world" topic and get back to us on the results (as well as detailed report on any error message you get and where).

3 things
1) I never said i couldn't post anything, my rant was about not being able to create topics.
2) Why would I keep coming back to a placee I can't ever share anything with the community on.
3) Why do people like you think there is something you can do about the permisson error. You talk about it like it's my fault and there is something I can do about it. No offense but your dumb
The only reason I'm even here now Is because I have some fallout 3 Mods I am looking to upload somewhere without having to jump through a bunch of hoops to do.
In fact I forgot I even had this account here until I tried to create one.
If I had known I was going to have to go through this much trouble just to get a couple of mods uploaded, I would have went directly to megaupload and or rapidshare.
This is completely ridiculous!

http://tesnexus.com/
AND
fallout3nexus.com
There is no where to upload anything on that site on top of that I can't do anything with my account on there.
When i go to a place that allows you to upload somthing this is what you do
1) Create an account (THAT YOU CAN FULLY USE)
2) Log in and go to your account
3) Create a topic
4) Attach your stuff
5) CLICK UPLOAD
6) Finished
those site don't even have a place to log in. I click home and it doesn't even do anything I clicked a bunch of other stuff anfd I wond up being brought back to the same page over and over.
It's impossible to do what i want to do on either of those sites.
and before you ask there is no where to log in or create a WORKING ACOUNT

So I will just delete your account which is obviously the problem.
Now you are free to create a new account (same ID or different if you please).
Here are some articles you "might" find useful:

EDIT: Oops. Looks like I deleted your account prematurely (before I saw post #7). Looks like you were just going about it the wrong way. Sorry...but if you read what was posted, you should have no problems whatsoever now.

1)You do not upload files from the forums, you can NOT create topics to any of the file sections, be it the screenshots or the mods.
2)You log in to the site from the upper right corner, unless you're dyslexic, it will be hard to miss. You will use the same account as you are using in the forums, there will not be any need to create separate accounts.

3)All the file uploads are done from the "Member area" -> "Add a new file" and then it's simply just clicking on the separate options you want.

4)You could have found all this by yourself, if you would have spent even half of the time you spent complaining, on exploring the site instead.
edit; Took far too long self-censoring myself and making this somewhat idiot proof small scale guide. <_<
