I killed off Dram Bero in the Haunted Mansion early in the game without realizing the consequences. There was no message that popped up which stated that the main quest would be affected, so I continued on. I have united all the tribes and was made Nevarine. I also was named Horator of the other two houses but now trying to get Crassius to talk to me is something ironic...lol...Now all Crassius says is an instant goodbye message in red, not allowing me to ask him anything. He insists on some action. I moved on with the Hlaalu quests as I had not selected one as of yet in hopes of gaining rank to become the head of the house so I could vote myself in...but that's not working seeing as I have to talk to Crassius to gain any new jobs or work. Yngling Half-Troll is also aware of my vicious and fatal attack on good-ol' Dram so he isn't any help at all either...I was wondering if any of the pros would even have a cheat or anything to re-spawn Dram Bero or find away around this...I was even trying to use the code to just get the Horator belt by typing the tilde key and entering player-> additem"horatorbelt_uniq"1(looked up item reference in construction set)but no dice!! Is there another variation to this code??Can I resume with this character??I've put lots of time in and would be greatly dissapointed if nothing could b done...ty for anyone who replies...

Simply placing another instance of Bero in the cell won't help matters much, since Curio and the others know that you've already killed him once.
Unless you want to undergo a complex procedure to remove all evidence that Bero was killed in your savegame, you'll have to live with what you've done. If you work to redeem yourself and gain a reputation of 100 or above, at least the Temple will understand your actions and give you face-time with Vivec regardless.
Alternatively, there's always the Backpath (search the Spoilers forum for information on it).
Unless you want to undergo a complex procedure to remove all evidence that Bero was killed in your savegame, you'll have to live with what you've done. If you work to redeem yourself and gain a reputation of 100 or above, at least the Temple will understand your actions and give you face-time with Vivec regardless.
Alternatively, there's always the Backpath (search the Spoilers forum for information on it).

You can always do the main quest via the 'back road'. Kill Vivec and take the artifact you find on his corpse to Yagrum Bagarn.
You can respawn Dram Bero via the console but it will not affect the other characters' view of the situation as officially he is dead. I am fairly sure you can use the console to remove the game's knowledge that he is dead. Unfortunately I do not know how to. There will also be a console command you can type in that makes you Hortator of House Hlaalu. You can probably look it that up in the construction set.
So there will be a way around it I am sure.

There's something else you might try. This happened to me not too long ago. I got sent to see Vivec before the great houses named me Hortator and he declared me Nerevarine and gave me the artifacts I needed. I posted in here about the incident. Read my post titled "Vivec Named Me Nerevarine, But I'm Not A Hortator Yet." You might just try going to the Vivec temple and see Saryoni and see if he'll send you to see Vivec.

Funny U should mention that...I had read your post and decided to kill him...floatin there all high and mighty...but I don't think I got the weapon I was supposed to...if memory serves me correct...there was nothing on him...but I'll confirm that...somethin to do lol. I used the placeatpc "orvas dren"1 20 1 code and got him to come back and he voted me as Horator updating my journal...then realized "duh" all I had to do for Crassius Curio was remove all my clothing for him to respond...wow!!! how demeaning...I killed him(after saving of course) about 5 times...lol! Actually, to be quite honest, one of the most disturbing things I've found within the game so far. Crassius has sent me to see Ordral Helvi in Caldera but I havn't found him yet...must be in the mines, gonna check. I hope this is all a good way to get around killing Orvas Dren early in the game because I'm sure I'm not the first...like the dude's in a haunted manor...it's creepy and you're jumpy....some crazy Nord in that room and he's done...I'm out....grab the lockpicks under the stool and on to the next guy...
