Mod Epic Failure

Every time I try using a mod of ANY sort It always fails...
whether it's an Item or Location or anything!
I either get a red triangle with an exclamation point or my game crashes as soon
as I start it up!
I'm at my wits end!
I read everything, look everything over, but IT ALL FAILS!
Will anyone please help me?
I'm seriously losing it... :wallbash:
