Me & my sister have a kick-ass idea for a thieves guild headquarters. No, i'm not telling you what it is right here, because everyone overlooked it. But i need someone to help me, with a few very minor codding details, like enchanted lock picks. Please respond if you would like to apply and i'll fill you in on the details

People aren't waiting in line to steal some humdrum mod idea from you, don't worry.

Of course, they aren't waiting in line to agree to help with a mod that you refuse to tell anything about, either, so there you go.

Owk, lets put it this way. If you would only tell one person your idea and that one steals it and creates the mod solely himself without telling that it's your idea...how will you prove that? If it's here with your name, people at least know it's yours and you've somewhere to point to.

Today it isn't the case that modders are jumping around without ideas, most of them either already have them or they are picky. (not in a negative way... Everybody just has their own interests.) Tell what your idea is and someone might get interested. First a bunch of people that'll like to add to your idea and perhaps a modder or two that thinks: Hey, that's even doable! I'm unsure if it is right now, so why would any modder agree even before they've seen it?

If your worried about your idea being stolen(Which generally doesn't happen). Tell a little to get someone interested, that way you have some confidentiality, and someone interested.

Most modders don't want to trawl through thousands of PM's about an idea which they MIGHT not like.

Tell a little, I've never known anyone on these boards to steal. Anyway if you are worried as I said above, give a teaser of the idea.

jeez dude you cant get help by not telling people what you want.
thats like us at empires glory saying i want you to make us a sword but your not allowed to know what/who its is for. usually you ask for help in order to get the mod you want finished for personal use noone is going to steal it.
