Are Infamy and bounty the only stats that people/Gods react to? Are stats like "items stolen" and "trespasses" just for fun like the "jokes told" stat? I didn't try to capture the Greyfox because I wasn't sure if the game would let you turn him in and I didn't want to be branded a thief.

Murder has consequences though... even if you aren't caught.
The factions you join also affect NPC reactions.

I think that after you steal enough items your infamy will raise

I think that after you steal enough items your infamy will raise
Sounds like the TG's quest Independent Thievery (which gives Infamy as you fence items...).

I believe most of those stats were included and tracked specifically just for Xbox Live achievements or just player curiosity. Aside from the initial effects of performing that action, most don't relate to anything important.
