big town

all of big town died (i had an errand to run before the big fight, figuring i taught them all how to shoot so they would be fine. they all died. any way to resurect the people of bigtown and possibly a mod to make it better. not the military installation one tho. cheers

they are wussies, even if you try to teach them something. you have to protect them as good as you can, at least this is what i've experienced.
click on the dead body and type resurrect into the console. maybe you will have to use the command "resethealth" as well if the npc's die instantly after resurrection.

I used a companion recruit mod to give them all bigger & better weapons (after I'd saved them from the main attack). Didn't know about the Guards mod -- I'll use that if I start a new game.

You could set them essential after resurrecting them :)

bigtown:

1. free the hostages from germantown and fast travel to bigtown, talk to them about the mutant raids
2. position yourself directly on the bridge (next to the guard) equip Fatman (2 mini nukes are plenty)
3. wait 1 hour, mutants show up, let em gather towards the bridge (ignore the bigtown pussies, they are good for nothing, even if they hit you its like 1-2 HP damage max, if you wanna avoid that steal their weapons first) use the fatman to kill all the mutants for massive XP and karma
4. saved bigtown and never return, cause no matter what you do, that place sucks, there's nothing of value in there, the NPC are annoying and there ain't even stores

its weird. there are no bodies. no blood. no mutant corpses. they all vannished. could have been a glitch but i dont reckon so. it looks so nice with the green mod and seems like a terrible waste no having anything in it. suppose the RTS mod could do well but im not sure i really have the time to develop a whole settlement . once i get into the geck im gonna sort it out
