Or ignore this advice cause the firelance only appears in a random event that can occur in a large number of various places (but only once per game). Wander around until you see a UFO blow up in the air and/or see a large number of glowing capsule-like ammo on the ground, then search for the firelance.

Instead of emailing a "non brocken" email, how about just googling it or go to the fallout wiki : P

It's always fun when a new player makes a great "discovery" and just HAS to share it with the world!!!

Just kidding bringit518. This happens ALL the time. Heck, just yesterday I found two new things I never ever had a clue about, and almost reported them myself. Instead, though, I looked them up on google & the fallout wikia and learned that these new things are already well documented.
( still pretty funny, though. Hint: never surrender to Outcasts; they've got issues with dereliction of duty...! )

Anyway, congrats on finding the Firelance. It almost certainly won't be so easy to find again next time.
