Hey everyone, yet another problem that someone might be able to solve... in my vault 74... i have made a texture change in the vault suits... ive put 74 on them... so anyways... i wanted to test them out... see the mesh of the clothing (GO) and see it on me... but when i walked up to the position i put it... i couldnt see it... but when i got close enough to press to take it... it said I could take it... got it... and I could put it on with no problems... so i tried moving it and did it again... same thing... but when i walked into it... the collision occurred and it flew away like it would when you bump it and it appeared... I tried moving again... did the same thing... pushed it and stuff... same thing happens... so i thought it might be an error to everything i changed in the geck properties... so just in case i put down vault 77 suit... went in... the same problem occurred... couldnt see 77 suit either... could press it... and hit it and it appeared....
any ideas???

20 viewings and no help... does anybody know whats going on with my clothing???
In-game the vault suits dont show unless you bump them... you can press to take while they are invisible... and they can be seen when equipped... just the point where you walk towards them... no matter what angle... its not the render box its rendering in general... it wont appear...

I was playing around with my new custom Fatman, I died... I discovered that when i "coc" back to the vault and walked around... certain places had issues of rendering when it did it fine the first time... like the Cave piece connecting to the vault door area... when you get close to the door... the bit where it connects disappears and you can see the outside area... same when you go up the stairs to get to upper level... as you get to the arch the walls on each side disappear and you can see the other rooms through the wall... and this is where the update is... the Vault 74 suit i put down... was showing... but all those other problems were occurring... so I exit the game and start again... coc to the vault... the game works smoothly again... no rendering problems... but the suit is invisible again... I hope this helps...

does anybody know why im having this issue... please... ive tried everything... the game wont let you see the suit until you bump into it or shoot it etc... Ive checked my Portals and FO3EDIT... nothing is showing error... and it aint just my modding of the suit... its any suit i lay down that does not want to show up... i get no other errors... i can put the suits on fine etc and see it on me in first and third person... it just doesnt not appear as you put it the "*go.nif" mesh... and sometimes when i test trying to make it appear... when i look at the sliding doors, they start to muck up 2... the control panel disappears... and i checked to see if the doors are in correct position... they are... its got to do with whatever is happening with the suits... well its only one now coz i put in vault jumpsuit 87 into the mix... screws up aswell so i only worked with my modded textured suit... maybe a vista thing??? i wish i could show you... only option is for you to get my files/folders and .esp to make it work and you play it and see if you get same issue, if not then something is happening with my computer... anybody willing to do this? keep in mind i am only learning and I havent finished yet... im fine tuning everything so it aint like awesome stuff... you can follow my half built quest, my modded fatman and my new desert eagle I got working since the persons who made the mods mod wasnt working properly, even tho I did the correct things. anyways...
let me know if you want it and ill put it through whatever way suits you... and dont laugh lolz...

first pic is suit not there til you shoot or bump it by walking into it or since its on the table you would kick it as you walk over it...

yes it should say it... wait another post... yes i do... im using fomm to load... ive checked with FO3EDIT... gone through geck... these problems you see with the sliding door and vault door are recent... they were working but just in few days of playing through again before editing this happens... but anyways pictures coming now... sorry but im having issues and can only give you suit error... the vault door is having texture issues... when i go up some stairs i can see through the wall and the sliding door panel disappears and reappears after you open the door... this happens when you reload your save or die and reload then "coc" back to the vault... again all portals etc have been analyzed with perfect balance... FO3EDIT reads no issues with door or suit or nothing... no conflicts of any kind yet im having these issues???

Dumb question...
Is it sitting too low on the table? Maybe it's glitching into the table and not showing up like the vault 112 suits... I mean even Bethesda has that sort of problem. I know the Advanced Radiation Suit in 87 is invisible until it's bumped, the vault 112 suits in the one room (On a counter next to three clipboards) have the problem, and I belive there's even a set of shotgun shells in the children's wing at Arlington library that have the same issue...
As for beign unable to pick it up.. That one I have no real clue about. I'd ask if you have 'playable' checked, but you said you can additem and use it, right?
