I obligingly shinnied down a water pipe to release a valve for 'Dad' at the water purifying plant in Jeffersons, and then found the only option was to return to the sub-basement. When I get there I find the place is swarming with Enclave soldiers all dressed in battlegear, and though I jump down and creep about hoping to get outside and away, I always end up dead. Have I just got to keep on trying or am I missing something?

oh heck.... I'm only lickle....

... how many is 'all'? They have full body armour and laser rifles, and if I do fer one I am so poorly ( no stimpaks) I get done for by his buddy

oh - went back in from a previous save and hardly met with any resistance this time, and was able to continue the plot and finish the waters of life quest = yay!
