Every week I receive emails from half-witted (and often illiterate) individuals who want to get something off their chests regarding TESSource. I thought I'd post up the latest piece of "art" to cross-analyse it a little. Maybe try and gain an insight into a moron's psyche. Instead of looking for Wally (or Waldo if you're from across the pond) just look for the reason(s) why this email was completely pointless.

"I just [censored] hate you little snot nosed punks who think you are the only ones hosting a file on the net , that you hold the file ransom until you collect the users information so you can use thier emails for selling to spammers etc. Got news for ya, all the files you have are available everywhere else!!! in fact i just wanted you all to know that any file i wanted from you...got googled and downloaded from other, non-nazi little [censored] like you. Let Freedom Reign!"

Aside from the obvious crap about selling member details to spammers, I've got news for you too Mr. Anonymous; If you don't like the site don't use it you jackass. I'm not forcing you to, and as rightly said a lot of the files at TESSource can be found elsewhere. Lets play another game; the memory game. Tell me which two sites are the longest running mod sites for Morrowind and what part of them is similar? Answers on a postcard (preferably with tasteful pictures), first correct answer pulled out of a hat gets Oblivion free when it's released. The address? Err...*runs*

God, I just hate Irrational people like that....

Well, I know that one of the longest running sites is this one, TesSource. The other is possibly Morrowind Summit (R.I.P).

as for similarities? I don't know...neither of them sell your email adress to spammers?

hehe... now why wouldn't you want all of us (who obviously love you for this site) to know were you live lol.

there was also forgotten relms, not to sure if it has been going as long as TESSource. but Morrowind summit is simular in that it was for TES series only.
when do I get my free Oblivion game :)

Give him a break, he's obviously just used Fileplanet one too many times and the login screen here gave him bad memories.

[For those of you lucky enough to not know about Fileplanet, it's the Morrowind mods download site that, besides having deleted thousands of Morrowind mods that are still linked to from a variety of places, does sell your personal information to advertisers and does encourage authors to not upload their works anywhere else]

Don't you mean Unforgotten Realms? :P And I think, at least the forums, have been around at least as long as Dark0ne's have. But I'm not so sure about the mod site itself.

I must agree with Switch about him being (for lack of a better term) a retard.

Now I can understand him POSSIBLY being angry, if he has no common sense whatsoever, and he has a dial up connection that causes people to become quite elderly before the downloading finishes...

I seem to be rambling again (sorry :) ) so, on second thought, a constructive criticism would have been beneficial, but his comment is just downright debasing and out of term for such a wonderful sight as this, even though I am not currently playing Morrowind, that has been serving us Elder Scrolls lovers for a good long time.

I am rambling again... I really must stop that or i might get myself into trouble.

Great site, by the way, and I like its most recent (though by now not brand new) look.

Maybe I'm not deeply enough into Anglo-American state philosophy, but could someone explain to me the "naziness" of registering for free on a site/forum in order to have access to extended site features?

Right. If you don't want to use it, don't. That's how it is, nothing else.

What we have here is the same as walking around a circus by your own free will, yelling that the place is terrible and that everyone should leave, yet he keeps walking around.

"almost" everyone on the forums loves the site, including me. Let those few weirdo's be. They live in their own fantasy world with nazi-sites.

I hope this guy doesn't join the forums as he seems the perfect guy to develop forum neurosis (I don't think you have forgotten thomas completely yet? I read through that thread, hilarious). Uh-oh. I'm nearly 15. Average forum neurosis illness age? *runs away with dark0ne*

Erm, I actually DO do this, but that's only due to my intense fear and hatred of clowns...

Wasn't there a post on here a couple of days ago that expressed this exact sentiment? I'm sure it went along the lines of "Why did I get added to this forum when all I wanted to do was mump free plugins from your site" (I may have added that last part). It's insane: if you are given a free extra that you dont want, then don't use it. Don't use that thing to then complain about that fact that it was foisted (his word, I think) upon you. However I'd say that to not use the forum is his loss (although clearly our gain).

Death to the painted men, and their wierd forum-hating brethren!
