It isn't the most stable of games though, no. It had an annoying habit of crashing for me, and sometimes it took around 5 minutes to load a level. And it won't even start the game for me now.
But when it works, it is definitely one of the better games I've played.

Yea the game is a tad unstable at times. Id play it now but my little brother destroyed the disk (EVIL!)
I wish we could see a massively open rpg with Dark Messiahs engine. Though the AI was a bit wonky, I have seem worse lol.
My opinion is that the game was too short. I beat it in one weekend. Though I replayed it several times, and would still. Its pretty short.
Being sneaky assassin was my favorite.
Grab the enemy from behind, plunge you dagger into his neck, wrench it open and toss him aside.
Oh I had so much fun killing my foes with shadow tactics haha,

Harabec, I was under the impression it used the Source engine - though modified somewhat of course. An open-world game could be interesting, but tbh I think a linear game would work just as well, if not better. As for combat... I just forged myself a really awesome flamey sword which set fire to stuff and murdered everyone I ran into with it. Much simpler than trying to sneak around everywhere

Whoever mentioned that flashy thing, I had that with a demo game I downloaded from Steam fixed it by turning off AA..
IMO those two game Dark Messiah and ARX Fatalis will never lose their charm..
