Recently i gto back on Battlefield 2142 and started whooping butt as i used to when i played a lot more. I cant play at the monent because i fractured my left hand this morning so FPS games arent poaaible for me ATM.

But anyone stil play? I just got my Colonel Silver rank.

If anything id like to see an updated version of the game get made. If you've ever played you've probably noticed how easy it is to get stuck on terrain objects and stuff like that.

A smoother environment would make the game sooooo uch better.

Well i don't play it that much anymore but if you're determined to play it maybe we could get together on the game or something. I got the top rank in the game and stopped playing shortly after (it gets a little boring when all your friends stop playing and you don't have anymore goals to get too.) Then i started playing again after i got the northern strike booster but when i had problems with stats (it wouldn't record things like win 4 games and when i won a game it would still say 0/4.) so as i said if you're determined to play it just let me know you're account name (so i can send a friend request) and we'll try to play a couple games. I agree with the terrain don't know how many times i've had to click that suicide button. Hope you get better soon.

I still play 2142 on occassion. But honestly, I don''t think any game can ever truely live up to BF1942's name. Hell, there're still more people on a daily average playing on BF1942 servers (aswell as mods) than BF2142 I believe.

ya i've never played it myself only 2 and 2142. I've seen battlefield 1943 but it sounds more like a mod than anything else to me i think it has 3 maps or something like that

Hmmm, I switched back to BF2 shortly after 2142 came out. Will check and see if I've still got mine around here somewhere and I might start it up again.

Personally I think the players online are ruining the game. Most of the matches become PK-Rocket and grenae spams. No one works together, no one has a sense of teamwork.
People dont capture and take points, but rather sit and vehicle or spawn camp a capturable point instead of capturing it.

Besides I havent been able to play any sort of FPS game since I fractured my hand unfortunantly, I cant fully use WASD to move around. I can still play RTS games though since they really only need the mouse hand to play lol.
