GRRRAAARRGG - it keeps freezing?? help - could somebody plz read this?

weeeeeeell, its quite simple, morrowind keeps freezing and its drving me coocoo??
there is no problem with sound or anything, it doesnt exit out to the desk top etc, the music keeps playing aswell - it just stops??
could someone give me any clues as to what i can do?

I know, it can be VERY frustrating, you have to constantly hit that quicksave button in case everything comes to a halt.
In my limited knowledge I could suggest two possible causes
1) Have there been any hardware changes to your computer? Install any new hardware? This could be a conflict of drivers soundcard, etc...
2) Have you downloaded any suspect plugins lately? Some of them can be sloppily made and can hassle your game a bit, as can making any changes to the main ESM file itself.
I'm sorry I can't be more help, maybe somebody can give you more definte advice.

oh it crashes on x-box alright
it crashes every hour!!!!
and it doesnt look better, the graphics are terrible compared to the computer ones, even the water doesnt reflect the landscape properly
