I won't bore you with the back story. Suffice it to say I am playing bloodmoon for the first time in about eighteen months. (It was never my favourite part of the MW experience).

I went in at level 16 before it is overrun with Spriggans and Riekling hordes (they come in when level 20 IIRC). It is an easy ride except for weird bugs I have never experienced before.

First there is the saving of the Good Beast quest. I activate the stone. Before I am half way down the hill I get a journal update telling me the beast is dead. I reload - same problem. I finally solve it by marking the site at which the bear appears and recalling immediately I activate the stone. Even then it is the third attempt before I manage to kill the Rieklings. They are not hard to kill but the beast is two-thirds dead by the time I arrive. There is be absolutely no way I can walk, run or fly to the site in time to save it.

Second Korst Wind-Eye is in two places. I can teleport between them. He has the same dialogue in both but it seems very odd.

Then there is Graring's assassin. I have posted elsewhere that the trigger factor to make her appear seems to have something to do with the player's direction of approach to Graring's house. When she did not appear as I came in from the east, I backtracked and tried a south westerly approach. Sure enough the woman appeared but she did not attack Graring and responded to me as if she were a friendly NPC. Her disposition was 87! The script supposedly attached to her appeared to have vanished. When I cast frenzy humanoid and she attacked me, I killed her and got the correct journal update. Sadly she had no interesting or unusual dialogue.

The only mod I have on which is new is Emma's Kids in Morrowind. I cannot see why that 'cosmetic' mod should have such side effects.

Has anyone else had these glitches?

Very interesting...

I actually cannot help you much, those are some very weird glitches. However, the most unusual things can sometimes occur from the most unrelated or seemingly innocent mods. Seriously, I downloaded a face replacer that caused the stats on my werewolf to go haywire. Only for his acrobatics though. Fortunately it was nothing the console could not correct.

did you manage to do the bear quest? What I could suggest is, cast recall again and use the console to kill the rieklings.

I've had strange things happen in my Bloodmoon also. I was using a mod that made werewolves get better rewards for Bloodmoon quests and it seemed to make the sound go all staticy whenever I would get near Lake Fjalding.

Ive never had any problems with Bloodmoon. Apart from the fact that reikling raider reflect ALL my magic (admittedly, it's supposed to be that way, but it's a problem for me nevertheless.)

So I'm afraid I can't help you.

It's the ice of Lake Fjalding crunching together.

I think the "icepack" comment was meant as a joke...
