Story: Orphaned when both his parents were killed in an orc attack on his village, he was adopted by the Imperial Cult and taught the ways of a Monk. He grew up learning hand-to-hand and staff-based combat, as well as arithmetic, literature, and science. He uses his skills to help him cast higher forms of magic, but does not know many spells. When he came of-age, he started doing tasks for the imperial cult, until he was eventually promoted to the rank of priest. Avelyn was not suited for the lives of the Imperial Priests, and took to wandering the country. Known by law-enforcement everywhere for all the 'borrowing' he does, and throughout bars as the one you dont want to get in a brawl with, he still is able to keep people to respect him. If needed, he can always go to an Imperial shrine and be greeted warmly.
