Ok so is the MEmod not going to be released?! I think you don't have to worry about copyright laws if you don't sell it, I guess. I dunno, but 3 years of work down the DRAIN!

God...this is why i left these forums. After the mod died all of these idiots KEEP COMING ON and trying to give ways of resurrecting the mod. There is an article in the lastest american PCGamer issue on mods getting shut down because of copyrights, YES THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO SHUT THEM DOWN. And YES, EVEN IF ITS FREE.

Read the forums, and you'll discover that we had beleived we had a nonprofit agreement to produce. It was when we discovered we did not have such that MeMod was closed down.

Please understand that MeMod was cancelled several months ago. Our references regarding the circumstances of closure have been made generously available, as well as our request to the community to not attempt to "revive" MeMod. Several of the Devs are quite frustrated that there are users who continue to question the validity of MeMod's final decision.

To be honest, I find it quite flattering that our fans wish for MeMod to come back as much as they do, even if it means making another unsubstantiated post. This is, of course, not an exclusion of my personal frustration when these posts occur, but please understand that we appreciate your desire to see MeMod return but you and all other victims of the Dev's impending wrath must understand that this will not happen. I've had a pleasant near-four years working on MeMod and am very sad to see such a long-term investment crumble away, but these things happen. It's best to just let it go.

Yes I am sorry to see such a large investment just be thrown away, but thats what happens, like you said. And I am a big fan of LOTRs and I saw some screen shots of the thing and man let me tell you! That is great stuff there!
What I think you guys should have done was email or set a meeting with bethseda or what ever that name is AND who ever owns LORTs at this point, since JRR Token Died I don't know who owns it and ask them if you can make this. But don't get mad at me please, just a thought

Perhaps now that it is in large pink letters you might actually have the courtesy to comply with our request? Don't expect people not to get mad at you if you continue to ignore requests that you first inform yourself properly before making stupid suggestions, all of which we have heard and dismissed before.
