The original doom rocked! Many modern FPS's wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Doom.

Doom II also was a great classic. But Doom III was pure *poop* :angry2:

Doom 2 was the first FPS I played multiplayer on the PC -- LAN game was so fun and just so..original, for the time.

I'm assuming you're talking about them floating pink monsters that hover around?

Strangely, when I play Doom now, I think what am I shooting at, because the graphics are so bad I don't know what's happening!

hmm, i just extracted the music from the main game files and converted them to a .mp3 file....and i never listened to them...

but yeah, doom 1 shareware was the first game i had ever played, then we bought it, found out that doom2 was on a CD, so we got to use our new triple speed cd drive =P, the good old 486 100mhz

if you have the time, buy the collectors edition, $10 australian, you get both + the mission disks (or download it, i dont care, but im not telling you how =P) and download jdoom, its a program that completely changes the game, add's opengl support, gives the game some flashy effects like proper colored lights, mouse support, corona's, more blood, its a great addition...plus theres so many good mods out for doom1/2

(doom3 doesnt count, its an abomination =\)
