well for years i have been using diskeeper, but this year 2009 diskeeper was well.... crap i loved 2008 but 09 is below par so i when online looking for a new one and heres what i found. so farr

I use Smart defrag as well, seems to work fine me, I think I give Auslogics Disk Defrag a try too.

A note for anyone using a SSD drive: defragging can shorten the lifespan of the drive.

You beat me to it auslogic rules, use it all the time.

The others are ok but they are system hogs.

I too have been using disk keeper for years. I just dl'd there pro-version for a free trial,it does everything theone in your first link does..but the cost is 100.00 Ques what I just DL'd and will install when my free trial is over!!!! Thanks for the info! kudo's too!
