Graring (EEC) get him to talk

I don't know how to get Graring to talk to me for EEC quest! I checked search and couldn't find anything... :help:

Look around for the redheaded Nord Coventina. Attack and kill her. Then Graring and his companions will speak with you and you can continue the quest.

As i did this mission right before i talked to him she attacked I flattened he with my stendaar hammer and then i could talk! <_<
