When I made the tarantula resource, I did include their latin names, as well as their more common names. I too have kept tarantulas as pets, and I will always have a fondness for them.

Yes, before releasing something that you've used parts from, you should always get proper permissions first. While I don't mind as you've made a male version, Arynn and I would have appreciated being asked. Please amend your description and readme to credit us for the meshes.

Make sure your game is patched up to 1.2 - running race mods on an older version of the game can cause the races to not show up properly.

Porting content from other games most certainly IS illegal, at least in most cases. Although we will not actively stop you doing so for your own game, Nexus cannot allow you to host the ported models here. It is a law thing and we have to abide by it, being a public site. What you make for your own game, or for friends, is entirely up to you. Just please don't post them here.

EDIT by LHammonds: Porting is usually not illegal but DISTRIBUTING / SHARING them is illegal which is why we do not host them here. These types of activities are usually done by modders who can do it for themselves...you would be hard-pressed to find a modder that would do this for you and "share" the files with you since it would constitute illegal activity.

One little glitch I've noticed, if you use the dog whistle in a narrow area, the dog ends up summoned in on the other side of the mesh. Maybe make him summon in a little closer to the player?
