@J_E_D & Stavros_Sk: Thanks!
@NickN: Thanks as well. I've noted both of those. I didn't see that happen in some of the IC guard towers that I was in so if you could get the cell name (put sdt 0 then tdt in the console and it's the "PC Cell") that would be appreciated.
Currently retired but still logging anything found for whenever I return to working on the unofficial patches. |

@DonSpure: You're welcome. If you can get them installed they will work just fine as they are no different than a standard player-made mod.
You can buy the Knights CD or the Direct2Drive version of it. Both of their installers are compatible with Vista.
Caveat: Direct2Drive is known to replace Oblivion.exe with an encrypted one, which makes it incompatible with OBSE (Oblivion Script Extender) if you happen to use that. I don't know if the Knights CD pack does this, but just in case, back up your (patched) 1.2.0416 Oblivion.exe and then rename theirs and put your original back if it does. I don't know if D2D replaces OblivionLauncher.exe as well, and if so if the restored EXE will work with the replaced launcher though. Probably best to back up both. Actually, probably best to get the physical CD! You can get used copies on Amazon and EBay cheaply if it isn't available at your local shop.
You won't get Battlehorn Castle from either one of these Knights CD/download options as it was released afterwards, however you'll save money as they are cheaper bundled than buying them separately.
The installers from OblivionDownloads.com (the only place to get Battlehorn Castle) for the separately purchased ones are definitely not compatible with any Vista or Win64 as noted. However (which explains the "if you can get them installed" above) there's a workaround. Read the "Solution 4: (Works in all configurations.)" section here . It's been confirmed to work perfectly on all the DLC's numerous times on all flavors of Windows that would otherwise be unable to install them.
So, you have many options, and if properly done, no drawbacks. |

@Varus Torvyn: Thank you.
@DonSpure: Are you absolutely certain that 1) You have not activated any of the UOMP patches whatsoever for official DLC's that you don't have? and 2) That the UOMP patches are loading after the DLC's that they patch?
I may as well also add 3) That you have not modified the official DLC's in any way since they were installed?
I've verified via hash checks that the one and only DLC that ever changed was Mehrunes' Razor, so I know that the UOMP patches are compatible with all of them.
Since you state that you are running "a freshly purchased GOTY edition" and the Knights patch works fine, I strongly suspect that it is the first reason, ie: you've installed and activated all of the UOMP patches, all of which except one will be for DLC's that you don't have, which is clearly indicated will cause problems. Contrary to rumors otherwise, GoTY only includes Knights of the Nine. None of the other DLC's are included in it; you have to buy them from OblivionDownloads separately or as part of the Knights of the Nine bundle CD or DirectToDrive download. |

@CastaScribonia, Ashes2Flames, Carlos10, Cha88 & Abo2: Thank you.
In case it wasn't noticed, yes, all the UOP files just got updated. The full installers now have the hotfixes built into them. And there's a full installer OMOD.
If you're getting it for the first time or have a version older than 3.0.0, just download the full 3.2.0 install (EXE, OMOD or 7-Zip.)
If you're upgrading from a previous v3.x.x install, just download the hotfix EXE or 7-Zip (there's no OMOD of that unfortunately so if you want the OMOD you'll have to get the full one.)
And if you have PlanetElderScrolls access, please download it from there! At least for a few days. The last time the full UOP's were released, it caused major problems for TESNexus due to the volume of downloads and the size. I don't want this to happen again. |

@Scullyy: In OBMM, click Create. Click Add Archive and select the UOP 7-Zip. Click Add Script and add this script (I 7-Zipped it to ensure it arrives properly; extract it and paste it in.) Click Create OMOD, wait for the completion dialog, then Activate it.
You may want to uninstall the existing UOP beforehand so you don't have to wade through a thousand confirmation dialogs.
When I release 3.2.0 which should be in a few days I'm uploading a complete OMOD of the full 3.2.0 installer. If you'd like to wait until then, it should make it easier. |
